It is an easy and yet intriguing read, written by a member of the community for the community as well as those from outside of it.

Working with young people in the church has always been close to my heart.
I have been blessed to be able to minister to them in the UK, Caribbean and in the USA.

Using music and comedy sketches is a great way to do that and this is one from the archives.
This fictional song/sketch contains different voices that you just might recognise if you listen closely.

The year was 2004 and the venue was a church service. The old preacher was fed up of trying to get the congregation to praise the Lord.
So get his message across, with some help from the young people, he attempted to put it across in a song.

This track was partially recorded with studio recorded lyrics and live recording from a Palace Cathedral Friday night youth service.

Civilised is all about the tribalism and brutality, which is endorsed in some music and therefore in some parts of society.
It highlights the lack of civility, the celebration and promotion of diminishing personal standards and the insistence of modern culture in pushing boundaries of moderation and decency.
