Yesterday had an epic north to just south of Chester and back. Loaded the car with about one third of the collection I purchased, and then had a tour of the nearby town on Nantwich. Was fortunate to have a local guide, Malcolm (from whom I bought the stamp collection) to show me around. About 480 mile round trip.

Hi all. Just a quick note to all those interested in history, but particularly those young readers just getting started down the road of historical interest. Part two of 'The Unusual Histories of a Curious Dog' is about to hit the shelves. In this book our curious dog Biscuit goes on another adventure into the past, doing a little fossil hunting on the Jurassic Coast, and then finds herself impressed into the Royal Navy where she gets caught up in one of the greatest sea battles in British history. Just had a busy weekend, with a bookfair in Lewes on saturday and then a bootsale in Chichester. Sold lots of stuff (so that there is room for all the stuff I keep buying) and had fun. Great crowds in both locations.
