Have you seen the new national TV advert for The Mare and Foal Sanctuary with Angela Rippon?

Powerhouse is proud to have volunteered to film for this project and to support such a wonderful charity. It was a pleasure to meet Angela – she had some fantastic stories to tell about her lifelong love of animals and her amazing career. The TV advert will appear on ITV, Sky, TNT, Really, History and Meridian South until the end of October.

"In your eyes I found my home" Emily and Dominic's romantic wedding.

Late June at Pynes House, just outside Exeter, set the stage for a wedding that felt equal parts timeless and modern. Emily and Nick’s day was a study in elegant restraint — stunning floral arrangements that framed every view, a reception held within the scented pathways of the Italian rose garden, and an evening that gave way to a joyful live band in the ballroom.

Emily accompanied by her father Christopher walker down the aisle in an off-the-shoulder white silk gown, while Dominic complemented her in a warm brown herringbone tweed suit with a matching bow tie — a look that felt perfectly of the place and moment. The décor leaned into classic romance, with sumptuous blooms and soft palettes that let the couple’s personalities shine.

At the heart of the day were Emily and Dominic’s personal vows. Emotional, exacting, and spoken from the depth of their bond, those promises made their love unmistakably visible to every guest. The weather held its breath long enough for the couple to celebrate outdoors, and the evening’s live music sent everyone home with smiles and memories.
