MYKOLA SOLONAIR

Multiple Artist from West Ukraine, born in Ternopil, live in London. Since child he has been always drawings and engraving on wood, creating sensational pieces of human forms in an futuristic way which later on became his own style. Coming to London was his artistic adventure, scouting for new forms and new experiences. Mykola is living and working until now in his studio in Chelsea.

In 2004, Mykola Solonair came up with a new style,which he called Puzzlefaunism. The meaning of which is the free placement of animal symbols, which like puzzles, create a single work of art.

He is been recognised in 2007 one of the best British /Ukrainian rising star in the phantasmagoric world of contemporary art by representatives of the 📷Opera Gallery,one of the most important galleries in the world, in Bond Street signing a three years contract to provide paintings and sculptures and other masterpieces in mix media and formally entering in their international catalogue. Same year he is been accepted as a member of the famous Chelsea Art Club in London were he held quite few exhibitions, among his admirers is famous English pop icon Peter Blake, celebrity photographers John Stoddart, Barry Lategan and Vyacheslav Kostyukov, Soviet rock star Andrey Makarevich, caricaturist Gerald Scarfe, Derrick Stafford, the main influencing teacher of David Hockney, currently living artist which works are the most expensive in the world.

In 2007 is been invited by the Victoria and Albert Museum to show his hand craft techniques by invitation to a valuable only public in the sector. 2015 he was finally exhibiting in his own country, in the Academia of Art of Ukraine in Kiev,where 20 of his fabulous sculptures were appreciated; always in 2015 he was invited for a personal exhibition in the local museum of his birth city Ternopil where he donated 20 pieces of his works like sculptures and drawings and graphic designs. Cosmopolitan press and Media have been writing about him since as well as interviews were given to TV channels.
