Reminder: Bin collections - Industrial Action

From Wednesday 27 December to Saturday 30 December, no bins will be collected. Please do not place your bin out during these days.

Service resumes on Tuesday, 2 Jan.

Residents will continue to feel the impact of action short of strike well into the New Year. We appeal for patience during this time and politely ask that in preparation residents reduce their waste as much as they can and continue to recycle responsibly.

Important Information about the Firework Displays event on Sunday 5 November. 🎆

We are very excited to welcome you all at Ocean Beach Pleasure Park, South Shields for our annual Firework Displays.

❕ There will be two free displays, a short display will take place at 6.30pm, before the main display at 8pm.

We are expecting the event to be very busy so we advise you to plan your trip.
