Formation of Akueliech Community Association in Juba

Today, the Akueliech community in Juba convened and held a successful meeting to discuss various challenges facing the community both in Juba and back home. After fruitful deliberations, the general assembly unanimously resolved to establish an official body known as the Akueliech Community Association in Juba.

To oversee its formation and structure, the following individuals were nominated by the general assembly to serve as members of the Steering Committee:

1. Tito Deng Deng – Chairperson
2. Apet Donato Deng – Deputy Chairperson
3. Santino Mathon Ngong – Secretary General
4. Lual Lual Majok – Secretary for Finance
5. Christina Adut Thuch – Deputy Secretary for Finance
6. Deng Akech Hal Ajiing – Secretary for Information
7. Marko Gar Deng – Member

Advisors:
1. Khoc Khoc Majok
2. Akoon Kuot Akuei

The Steering Committee has been tasked with the following responsibilities:
1. Drafting the constitution of the association
2. Designing the logo, official heading paper, and stamp
3. Election
4. Addressing other foundational matters related to the establishment and operation of the association.

We thank all community members for their active participation and continued support. Together, we are building a stronger and united Akueliech community in Juba.

BREAKING: SSRA Boss issues administrative orders affecting some officials

The Commissioner General of South Sudan Revenue Authority, Anyuon William Kuol, has issued administrative decrees relieving and appointing some officials in NRA

According SSRA official page, the following orders were made;



1- Kiir Yor Lual as Commissioner for Corporate Services



1- Jackline Adut Deng as the new Acting Commissioner for Corporate Services.

2- Dr. Mijwok Opec Akokjak, who served as Deputy Commissioner for Tax Audit and Compliance in the Domestic Tax Revenue Division, has been reassigned to serve as Deputy Commissioner for Taxpayers’

3- Formerly unassigned Deputy Commissioner of DRTD, Ajang Ajang Lino has now been assigned as Acting Deputy Commissioner for Tax Audit and Compliance – Domestic Tax Revenue Division.

In the Customs and Headquarters finance units, significant changes were also announced.

4- Benjamin Yom Bol, previously Assistant Commissioner for Finance in the Customs Division, has been reassigned as Acting Deputy Commissioner for Finance and Administration at SSRA headquarters.

5- Abraham Gak Malual, who held a similar finance role at headquarters, was moved to serve as Assistant Commissioner for Finance and Administration – Customs.

6- The order also introduced new assignments, including Martin Mabior Garang as the Assistant Commissioner for Finance – Headquarters, while Manyok Kuol Jok, previously overseeing Tax Audit for the Small and Medium Taxpayers Unit, now assumes the role of Assistant Commissioner for Internal Affairs – Headquarters.

7- Other notable reassignments include Peter Mayen Kuol shifting from Assistant Commissioner for Tax Audit and Compliance – Large Taxpayers to the same role overseeing Small and Medium Taxpayers.

8- Adup Adup Ngor, formerly Assistant Commissioner for Procurement and Logistics, now serving as Assistant Commissioner for Juba International Airport – Customs Division.

9- Abraham Akok Atem, who served as Principal Revenue Officer at the Ministry of Trade and Industry, was reassigned as Assistant Commissioner for Tax Audit and Compliance – Large Taxpayers.
