As a small business owner, I know how important it is to support one another, and I just wanted to take a moment to give a huge shout-out to an amazing fellow small business.

Over the last few weeks, you’ve helped me more than you’ll probably ever realise. Whether it’s been advice, support, encouragement, recommendations, or simply being there when I’ve needed a helping hand, you’ve made such a difference.

Running a small business can sometimes feel overwhelming, but having people around who genuinely want to see you succeed makes all the difference. It’s a reminder that we’re not competing – we’re building each other up.

Thank you for your kindness, your support, and for always being willing to help. Small businesses supporting small businesses is something really special, and I’m so grateful for everything you’ve done for me recently.

One thing people don’t always see when they look at a small business is everything that goes on behind the scenes.

I often hear, “That’s expensive,” when looking at personalised items. But these aren’t products picked up from a supermarket shelf. Every item is carefully designed, created, personalised, packaged, and prepared by hand.

What you’re paying for isn’t just the finished product. It’s the materials, equipment, software, electricity, packaging and most importantly, the time spent creating something unique just for you.

When you buy from a small business, you’re not buying mass-produced items made in huge factories. You’re supporting someone’s passion, helping to keep a dream alive, and receiving something made with care and attention that simply can’t be bought off the shelf.

I completely understand that handmade and personalised products aren’t always within everyone’s budget, and that’s okay. But before comparing prices, remember you’re not comparing like for like.

Every order means the world to a small business owner, and every purchase supports so much more than just the item itself. ❤️

What are everyone’s thoughts on the new under-16s social media ban announced today by Keir Starmer?

Do you think it’s the right move to protect young people online, or does it go too far and take away parental choice and teenagers’ freedom?

Genuinely interested to hear different viewpoints from parents, teachers, young people, and anyone else affected by it. What do you think the benefits and drawbacks will be?

To be honest we monitor what our kids are on and monitor their phones and laptops, I personally think the “prime minister” should be focusing on other things at the moment.
