Terry Ike Clanton, actor, recording artist, and cowboy poet, is also a direct relative of the infamous Clanton Gang, the outlaw family who famously faced the Earps and Doc Holliday during the historic gunfight at the O.K. Corral.

While visiting Boothill Graveyard in the 90’s, Clanton captured a black and white photograph to recreate an authentic 1880s Old West scene, dressed in period cowboy clothing. The image was developed at a local drug store, but what appeared in the final print shocked him.

Behind his friend, among the historic Tombstone gravestones, a mysterious shadow figure can be seen. The thin man in a dark hat appears strangely incomplete, possibly kneeling, legless, or even emerging from the ground itself.

Is this one of the most compelling Wild West ghost photos ever taken… or a chilling case of paranormal photography caught on camera?
