We haven’t done shows in years. But I’d like to take this occasion to say Seven years ago today, Mordor Rocks 1️⃣ was taking place! Love to all that have supported and been a part of our passion project over the years. We met great people and watched great musicianship! You helped us succeed in our goals and helped keep it all about the music.

The more observant of you may have noticed we haven't put on gigs for ages. This is because (sob) we don't do gigs any more!
We loved being music fans rather than the usual promoter types & we were lucky to be supported by The Hobbit to put on a great night and pay a good wedge.
As I mentioned before, they do still have a Metal Night at The Hobbit, and good ol' Tim Hoolahan runs the incredible - Seasick Promotions in Pompey too.
A big thank you to Hobbit Staff, Harry Dugdale, Jo Hill, Antony Edwards, Heather Ghanouni & all the amazing bands & punters that have been involved so far:

Superb band from my home town of Sheffield. Been rocking the Tramlines Festival regularly and are now going big-time. Well done guys. :)

So it looks like someone else has just started a metal night at The Hobbit, in the slot that used to belong to Mordor Rocks. It is imaginatively titled "Metal Night."
I guess for now we will have to find another venue. A big thank you to Hobbit Staff, Harry Dugdale, Jo Hill & all the frickin superb bands that have been involved so far & fingers crossed for the future. 😆 Cheers!

TONIGHT:
More Metal & Mirth than Most Mere Mortals can Manage!!
A blistering mix of Tech / Prog & Oldskool Metal, hewn in the fires of Mordor itself!
We probably aren't good enough for them but we have managed to get a date with all 3 of these incredible bands. I suggest you get your sweet, unworthy, wretched asses down to The Hobbit Pub - Vallee de bevois tnite & worship them as living gods, on pain of death...Or just come along, cos it will be amazing! :)
