I’ve noticed some of you wondering why this page has started talking about children’s behaviour my book as well as children’s entertainment.

A couple of years ago, I said I had a story to tell, and I meant it but didn’t know it would become as big as what it has now!

I’m still doing the parties and making children laugh! But I cannot wait to do the bigger events I’ve been longing to do! I’ve been building something that I know will help so many people not just little ones but parents too as we all know there’s not that much support out there for the parents let alone the kids ❤️

Before I tell you about the book I’m writing I want to show you why I’m writing it.
Not with opinions.
With facts.

In the UK! 🇬🇧 around 5% of children are estimated to have ADHD, and many aren’t diagnosed until later in childhood or even adulthood. 🙄

Many autistic children and adults are recognised later in life, often after years of feeling different without understanding why. 🙄

Around 90% of people with diabetes have Type 2 diabetes, while only around 8% have Type 1 diabetes. Although they share the same name, they are very different conditions with different causes, treatments and daily realities. 🙄

These are just three examples. I’ve spent so much time researching conditions like these not because I wanted to become an expert but because I wanted to understand something.
What happens when people are seen through a label instead of as a person?

The more research I read the clearer one truth became.

A diagnosis/ label can explain someone’s needs.
It can open doors to support.
But it will never tell you who that person is.

That only comes from taking the time to truly know them.
That’s why I’ve written my book.
Not to teach people about diagnoses…

But to help people see the person behind every label. Because when people feel seen, they begin to feel understood.

And understanding has the power to change lives.

I just wanted to say thank you. ❤️

I’ve spent the last night reading every single comment from yesterday’s post and honestly… some of your stories and messages have really stayed with me.

When I’m writing I get lost for hours. I believe worst curry so much power and vibration and because of that everything I write truly does reflect that. Last night I was reading your comments working on the book and one of the chapters, and before I knew it, it was the early hours of the morning.

Not because I’m rushing but because I’m taking in the feelings, emotions and experiences you’ve shared and letting them become part of this journey.

This book has become more than I ever imagined. It’s not just for one reader. It’s for parents teachers children and adults who have carried labels they were given when they were young or worked with anyone with “labels”

It’s about looking beyond the label and understanding the person behind it every chapeter every emotion and every hand sketched illustration has a purpose. Nothing is being rushed. (Artist will be mentioned in the book summary)

Thank you for being part of this journey with me and giving me even more reason to keep writing.

❤️ Something deeply personal…

For years, you’ve known me as SillyJay.

You’ve seen the parties, the laughter and the smiles.

But what many of you don’t know… is that behind the smile is a story I’ve never truly shared.

Growing up I was labelled more times than I can count.

Naughty.

Different.

Too much.

I struggled with ADHD, dyslexia, Type 1 diabetes, my mental health, and for years I genuinely believed I was broken.

Today, I know something very different.

I was never broken.

I just needed to be understood.

Over the last few months, I’ve made one of the biggest decisions of my life…

✍️ I’m writing my first book.

Not because I think my story is extraordinary.

But because if my journey helps just one parent understand their child… or one young person realise they aren’t broken… then every difficult chapter of my life has had a purpose.

This book is for every child who’s ever felt misunderstood.

For every parent who’s trying their best.

And for everyone who’s ever been defined by a label instead of being seen for who they truly are.

This is the most personal thing I’ve ever done, and I’d love you to come on this journey with me.

🎄✨ Merry Christmas to my incredible customers ✨🎄
The last six months have been so rewarding. Being able to create special memories for so many of you has truly filled my heart. The love I feel from this journey is exactly why I do what I do. I’m not saying I’m perfect I’ve made mistakes along the way but this is my dream, and I’m finally chasing it with all my heart. SillyJay simply wouldn’t be possible without your support, and for that I am endlessly grateful.
The past two months in particular have been incredibly challenging being made redundant, going through a biopsy and operation, and receiving a diagnosis of melanoma (skin cancer) caught it just in time, Juggling all of this while building my dream and working full time to finance SillyJay has been a lot but I am so thankful for every single one of you who has supported me through it all. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. I wish you and your little ones a very Merry Christmas, filled with love, magic, and special moments.
