Dr Diego Altaminaro, spoke yesterday as a replacement for Professor Malcolm Coe. Amazing talk "Maping the orbits of neutron stars around black holes. Not as difficult as finding needles in haystacks" On using Fourier Transform to find signals in the apparent noise of the electron magnetic spectrum. Great speaker, engaging, enthusiastic and accessible to all levels of knowledge. Also as an aside the science was a perfect fit for the press release on the detection of gravitational waves. Just Brilliant!!!
