Have you ever had something seemly insignificant make such a huge impact to your life?

We loved our campervan and the lifestyle it gave us. So much, that we bought an RV and made it our full time home!

In 2025 we took the leap to lead a more slow and peaceful life.

We moved into an RV with our 3 children. We were unsure how we were all going to adjust, but honestly it has been the best thing for us and our little people, as being relaxed in nature is just what we all needed.

We have already faced a massive hurdle when the RV broke down and luckily we were able to stay at Jenna's Dads.

This meant we needed to delay our Europen road trip. But as soon as the fuel sender arrives, the adventures begins again. We are so excited to see what 2026 has in store for us 😀⛴️🧳🌊🏖🎢

New fuel pump made all the difference. Fired up immediately, was a great feeling to know the RV was running again!

We've been parked up for the last 7 weeks, with a fueling issue. The fuel lines had corroded (all 16m of them), where the vehicle had sat for 7 years and the recent journeys had pulled all the crud through the fuel pump.

I've spent this down time, completely removing, cleaning and replacing the fuel system, which depends on lots of parts coming from the States and further afield.

The last part we were waiting for, was the fuel filter housing. It was meant to arrive on the 13th Dec! Ordered on Amazon, shipped from China, eventually delivered by Royal Mail. Shipping notifications apologised for the delays and then stopped, showing it was a local sorting office. Then, no further updates. Yesterday (whilst putting the bins out), found a package behind the bins. No missed knock card telling us a location, no one has rang the doorbell in days and we've not been out since Christmas Eve! So likely was delivered then! So very annoying, as we've wasted time as there is litterally nothing we can do without this part!

We will hopefully have the RV running, very soon!

Two weeks ago we should have been on the ferry to France 🇫🇷, right now we should be spending Christmas in Portugal🇵🇹.But...

Two weeks ago we should have been on the ferry to France 🇫🇷, right now we should be spending Christmas in Portugal🇵🇹.

But instead we need to do some repairs on the RV and we will hopefully be heading in to Europe after the new year.

Although we are pretty disappointed our trip is delayed its been nice to spend some more time with family and friends.

Would you go away for Christmas?🎅🤶🌲🎁

⛈️ First thunder storm in the RV ⛈️

We experienced our first proper UK storm in our RV.

It's very different being in a storm in our house on wheels. We could feel the thunder vibrating under the RV, the rain pounding on the roof and the wind moving us side to side.

Theres something really cozy about all snuggling up to watch a storm together ❤️
