โก๏ธ We would like to remind you all that a dispersal zone will remain in place across , and until 6pm tomorrow.
Our officers have been out in these areas patrolling in the 4x4 vehicle and also on foot.
We continue to have increased patrols in these areas which is in addition to our dedicated neighbourhood police officers, and they will deal with any issues and incidents.
โ๏ธ We know that many people of all ages will have been enjoying the coastline and beaches responsibly, however, the warm sunny weather and school half-term has unfortunately also resulted in large groups of youths congregating, particularly around Crosby beach.
As such, we have had reports of youths drinking alcohol, playing loud music and behaving in a disorderly and disruptive manner in the area.
As well as working to reduce anti-social behaviour, we continue with our work, which includes working with our partner agencies such as Sefton Council, National Trust, HM Coastguard and RNLI to encourage people to enjoy the coastline and beaches safely.
๐จ It is so important to remember that our officers and other emergency services need space on the roads to get their vehicles to incidents, so please remember to park responsibly and avoid blocking roads and driveways.
Please also check the tides and lifeguard advice before entering the water. Remember RNLIโs โFloat to Liveโ if you find yourself getting into difficulty in the water.
If you need to report anything to us, please message Merseyside Police Contact Centre or ๐ call 101. In an emergency always call 999.
