As we do the PR for the Miss England Contest's Miss Liverpool City Region Heats we have been asked to run a
⚠️ WARNING ⚠️
about fake Miss England Pages on Facebook that have appeared on the platform.
Shockingly, these fake pages have been reported multiple times by the owners of the Miss England Contest, but instead Facebook have take the real Verified page down and has left the fake pages up!
The Miss England has hundreds of young ladies applying each year to have a chance to represent England, along with the many charities and good courses that they support and promote each year at Miss World. This means these scam pages are not only still able to take information from young ladies aged 16 to 27 who might think they are applying to take part on the competition. They are also in the position not only damage the reputation of the competition, thst strives to support and promote young women, but also the charity’s they help!
These pages on Facebook are dangerous and it is shocking that Facebook hasn't restored the official page and removed the scam pages that the organisation running Miss England gave report countless times.
Please report the fake pages to Action Fraud if you find them, as Facebook apparently doesn't see them as dangerous.
This is a report on the regional newspaper we are part called Southport Reporter about the current issues regarding these fake pages on Facebook.

This issue also highlights many other worrying issues about Facebook Support.
We have already discovered multiple scams and found that when reporting them on Facebook, Meta for Business isn't responding to the reports, that is if you can get them logged at all.
