From computer programmers to experts, leaders and entrepreneurs, here are just a few of the inspiring women who have paved, and are paving, the way to a better future for technology:
👏 Ada Lovelace (1815 – 1852), often regarded as the first computer programmer.
👏 Dr Anne-Marie Imafidon MBE, computing prodigy and Co-founder of Stemettes, an award-winning social initiative aimed at inspiring the next generation of young women in .
👏 Tabitha Goldstaub MBE, Chair of the UK government's AI Council and Co-founder of CogX, Future Girl Corp and Teens in AI.
👏 Nadine Kroher, Research Scientist at TMC2, working on a range of cutting-edge technologies, such as music information retrieval, and processing.
👏 Flavilla Fongang, Founder of 3 Colours Rule, GTA - Black Women In Tech and host of the Tech Brain Talk podcast.
👏 Nina Nduwayo, Lead Data Scientist at Ravelin Technology and formerly Senior Data Analyst at Station10.
👏 Sarah Luxford, Director at Global Resourcing and Co-founder of TLA Women in Tech.
👏 Grace Hopper (1906 – 1992), an accomplished computer programmer involved in the creation of UNIVAC, the first all-electronic digital computer.
👏 Margaret Hamilton, a talented mathematician who helped land humankind on the moon for the first time.
