Taking Sarah back to her roots… quite literally.

Sarah is a natural redhead, but over time we’d built up a lot of blonde through the lengths. This appointment was all about saying goodbye to that bleach build-up and bringing back the warmth, richness and dimension that suits her so beautifully.

Using the NEW Redken Shades EQ Honey Bee shades that we were very kindly gifted, we transformed her blonde into this gorgeous, glossy honey-copper brunette working with her natural colour rather than against it. 🧡

Coming home from the most incredible weekend in Manchester at the The Official UK Hair and Beauty Awards and I’m still trying to soak it all in. What a weekend for Monroe!! 🥹❤️

This year was an incredibly tough one. The standard and talent in that room was unbelievable, with tens of thousands of salons entering the The Official UK Hair and Beauty Awards

To be recognised for the second year running for our standards, our skills and, most importantly, the absolute love we have for this industry is honestly overwhelming.

Every single year we strive to be better than the year before. We are ALWAYS looking at how we can improve, grow and push ourselves further, and we will never stop doing that.

I think it’s safe to say… we’re doing something right!! 🥹🏆

A huge congratulations to every single person who entered and placed. This industry is SO HARD, and to have so many talented people together in one room, celebrating each other and everything we work so hard for, is something really special.

🤎 A little reintroduction…

Hey, I’m Lisa, the owner of Monroe Hair!

Seventeen years ago I started doing hair from my little kitchen at home with a dream of one day owning my own salon. Fast forward to today, and I honestly couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve built.

It’s definitely not always been easy! We’ve survived COVID, a flood that completely destroyed our salon, two relocations, and plenty of challenges in between… but every time we’ve come back stronger and more determined than ever.

I’ve done all this whilst raising my daughter lacy Like so many mums, I’ve had the mum guilt of relying on family while chasing my dream, but everything I’ve worked so hard for has always been for her.

I genuinely can’t imagine doing anything else. Hairdressing isn’t just my job, it’s my passion. I absolutely love coming to work every day, and I feel so lucky to have the most amazing team beside me. They’re talented, loyal, hardworking and honestly the best group of girls I could ask for and I genuinely love the bones of them!

This year is a huge one for Monroe, and we’ve got some really exciting things coming! We’d also love to welcome a few new self-employed stylists to the team, so if you’ve been thinking about a fresh start, I’d love to chat pop me a message!
