Hi there, we are Kate & Mike, a couple in our mid 50s (At the time of this page creation) who sold up their bricks and mortal property for a semi full-time life on the road. Due to some friends passing away at an early age, we took the decision to live life more and explore the UK, instead of just sitting about the house 'rotting away' like the majority of the population. For 9 months of the year

we travel up and down the UK, with regular stops in Cheshire for family duties, we are constantly on the move. Preferring sites to stop-overs we both work full time from van every working day, so off-grid is not an option at present (We are looking into various off-grid solutions to power our days). We will be documenting the sites we visit, the technology we use and days out and about, where we find decent shopping, excellent food and great views. At the present time, we have no sponsors, so everything we own and use is hard earned and paid for by ourselves, but we are always open to the possibility of partnerships and sponsorship for Motorhome related items and equipment, so if you offer affiliation, partnership or need ambassadors, reach out and speak to us!

Yesterday, we went to the Whitchurch canal festival.

Plenty of good artisan stalls and a few musicians.

I love the idea of a narrow boat, but as Kate says, you can only go backwards and forwards in them.

I didn't realise that the festival was on the stretch of the canal that collapsed, last year.

Such a sad view of a once magnificent canal system.

We have arrived at our next destination. Meadow Springs Country & Leisure Park Here for the next week while we get some work done. Pitch 27, just outside the adults only area, but as the kids seem to have gone back to school, it's dead quiet.

It's almost 2:30 pm which means, Sunday lunch at Arthur's Restaurant.
