Man arrested after a multiple stabbing onboard the 6:25 pm LNER train from Doncaster to London King’s Cross.

Ten people have been injured - nine with life-threatening injuries and one with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say the train was stopped at Huntingdon Station around 7:39pm after armed officers responded. The A1307 near the town centre remains closed as investigations continue.

Despite our two local councillors Alex Bulat and Julie Kerr voting against the proposal, Cambridge County Council has voted for unitary council Option A, which would see St Ives fall under Peterborough rather than Cambridge.

Other councils are yet to decide on their preferred options.

Are you a board game and coffee fan?

Huntingdon’s Commemoration Hall is being reinvented as a board games cafe, set to open next week on Sunday 26th October.

Board games have become increasingly popular in recent years, offering a social daytime alternative to drinking in Wetherspoons, and this will be a welcome addition in Huntingdon.

Sad to see the Tudor being demolished in Fenstanton.

Once owned by Eric Morecombe, the pub/restaurant has shared many happy memories.

Sadly the building is mock-Tudor, built in the 1930s, so not a listed building.
