As August ends, we can look back at our Vikings event with this short film created by local production company, Fresh shoots. Over the year the team - Richard, Glyn and Sam have been documenting what a year in the life of Historic Stafford looks like.

Here is a small sample, taken at this years Vikings festival and we think they have really caught the mood.

Rain, thunderstorms and a live construction site.. just another day behind the camera. We recently had the pleasure of taking part in a fantastic shoot with SDN Mesma Group and Chartway down in Folkestone. Thank you to everyone involved for making it happen.

Spent the day filming at Allianz Stadium, Twickenham for Lidl in what must be the hottest day of the year. ☀️

Also discovered that touching a bronze statue that’s been sat in the sun all day is a terrible idea.

Now straight into the car with the air con on full blast!

A great project to be involved with Dougie Mac for .

We created a series of films highlighting some of the incredible volunteers who give their time to support local families and communities. Hearing their stories firsthand was a reminder of the difference volunteers make every single day.

We’re lucky to do what we do, especially when it’s for local organisations here in Staffordshire.

A brilliant day by Historic Stafford at Wildlife at the Castle… Owls, archery, bowl making and loads more going on.

They do some great work for the area, and it’s something Stafford should be proper proud of.

We were at the fantastic Pig Walk on Sunday filming with Urban Wilderness CIC in Longton, Stoke-On-Trent.

What's the Pig Walk you might ask? Well It’s an annual community parade and festival, inspired by the story of a mayor who won land for the town by walking a pig!

A brilliant day, full of energy, creativity and community spirit.
