WE'RE GEARING UP FOR THE BIGGEST EVENT OF THE YEAR IN ASHTON
Saturday 5th July | Market Avenue | 10AM – Late | FREE ENTRY

A full-scale wrestling ring. A 10-metre mechanical Star Wars Scout Walker. Dancing stormtroopers. Life-sized dinosaurs. It might sound like something out of a comic con… but it’s all happening in Ashton this summer.

Street Life is a brand new, one-day community festival taking over Market Avenue on Saturday 5th July. Free to attend and open to all ages, the event celebrates Ashton with a huge line-up of music, performance, food, film and sci-fi spectacle.

Highlights include:
👱 Celebrity guests
🦖 Giant mechanical dinosaurs
🤼‍♂️ Live wrestling shows from Top Rope Wrestling
🎬 Pop-up cinema from Metro Majestic
🚕 Movie props and cars
🕺 Boogie Storm – BGT’s dancing stormtroopers
🎭 Star Wars costume groups
🎶 Live performances from singers, bands and DJs
🎨 Free kids face painting
🛍️ Local traders, street food & cocktails
🤫 A few celebrity appearances will be happening too!

At the centre of it all is an 8-metre AT-ST Scout Walker, making its first-ever appearance at a community event, previously exclusive to comic cons and exhibitions.

It’s a celebration of creativity, local talent and pure imagination and a bold reminder of what Ashton town centre can be.

No tickets. No entry fee. Just good people, great energy, and a day to remember.
