As musicians we've played and worked together for many years and have jointly taken the role of sound engineer for many bands, now with more time on our hands and a passi

Over the years the PA and sound of bands has just been thrown together and a lucky band member (or Unlucky) is tasked with becoming the sound engineer, often effecting there playing or not being able dedicating the effort needed to produce a good sound and adjust during the performance - The sound and balance can make a great band sound epic or a good band sound great - Thats where we come in, we're here to help remove the hassle and allow you to focus on your playing and well do the rest!

A double header last night with both of us out on different shows, I had the pleasure of a trip to The Whitty Theatre in Wokingham to jump on the house A&H SQ7 and mix Very Beautiful South: tribute for two packed out shows. Dave took the local show to mix Clique for their very first gig, a charity event for Rutland first responders. Both with great success as always ;-)

So the MaD boys are taking a little break in Jan after a busy December & New Year. So we’re busy getting on top of some maintenance and getting everything prepped and ready for a busy February of recording and live shows! It also give us an excuse to break out the pizza oven!! Like all good soundies - we love a little pizza - followed closely by a curry!! Here’s to a busy 2025!

We had the pleasure of mixing Steve Foster’s All Star Big Band last week, a bunch of incredible musicians, a must watch if ever performing near you, and despite a tricky room, and the sheer volume of a 20piece band - i think its fair to say its sound pretty damn good - looking forward to some 2025 concerts!

New venue for us last night. The Leeds Irish centre, providing our services once again for the Very Beautiful South: tribute. Great venue, amazing bands and the catering isn't bad either! Big thanks to Joe for stepping into his dad's shoes once again!
