Reading this back, I know Iām not the only mum who feels this way.
Sometimes it feels like weāre constantly moving from one thing to the next. School runs, meal times, laundry, appointments, bedtimes⦠and before we know it another week has passed.
Then the weekend arrives and we finally get the chance to slow down, connect and just be together.
If youāve ever found yourself wishing for slower mornings, more adventures, more conversations, more cuddles or simply more time with your little ones, please know thatās okay.
It doesnāt mean youāre ungrateful for the life you have.
It doesnāt mean you donāt love the season youāre in.
It simply means you recognise how precious these years are.
Our babies wonāt always be little.
They wonāt always want us to read the extra bedtime story or hold their hand on every walk.
And I think itās completely natural to want to soak up as much of that as we can.
For me, thatās one of the reasons weāre choosing a different path as a family. A path that allows for more flexibility, more freedom and more time together.
Not because life needs to be perfect.
Not because every day will suddenly be slow and peaceful.
But because I want more moments that matter.
If youāve been feeling this way too, youāre definitely not alone ā¤ļø
