Got the chance to meet up with another podcast guest face to face. Saw the one and only Darren Brownlie (S4 #96) perform at the Kings Theatre in Glasgow for the 2025 panto.

2 years ago yesterday on the 5th Dec 2023 I recorded the first ever episode of the podcast with local musician Andrew Wyper (aka Randy Viper).

Having never done anything like this before I had no idea if I would be any good at it, if it would work or how it would look. Ready to delete the idea if it looked/sounded terrible I sat down with Andy and we had a great talk about all things music.

After a few hours of editing the episode was complete and ready to upload and it really has been non stop ever since. With no-one to turn to for advice Ive made every mistake along the way and its been great fun learning how to create a podcast.

Each season has evolved and got better looking with better sound quality and overall design. Ive met lots of great musicians along the way, ticked quite a few names of my own personal bucket list and I look forward to it continuing on.

Ive already started recording for Season 5. Start date tbc but are currently aiming for Jan 2026.

Big thanks to all the guests who have appeared on the show and of course a very big thanks to everyone that has took the time to watch.

2026 is going to be a big year. More news to follow shortly 🤘

Not bad for a wee Scottish podcast 🥳

To some people it might not be a big deal and Im not one to normally demand the spotlight but I think this is a nice little achievement for a wee Scottish podcast. 2 years running. 4 seasons. 120 episodes and have now hit 100K views. Nice. Thanks to everyone that has watched along the way 👌

We have finally arrived at the last episode of Season 4 and its another great one. He played lead guitar in Soulfly for 18 years, was there at the beginning of the Cavalera brothers reuniting with Cavalera Conspiracy and continues to rock hard with Merauder and Faction Zero.
