🎄 STUDIO DAY – IT’S REALLY HAPPENING! 🎙️

Today we hit the studio to lay down Do They Know It’s Muster Time… and what a session it’s been already.

Veterans. Cadets. Laughter. Nerves. Harmonies that may or may not be in tune.

But most of all — a room full of people coming together to do something special for our community this Christmas.

This song isn’t about charts or fame.
It’s about hope, humour and giving veterans a lift when they need it most.

We’ve got George and Arthur and that’s all the comedy anyone needs this Christmas.

We’ve been out filming the next promo video for Do They Know It’s Muster Time, and the chaos did not disappoint.

George questioning every decision.
Arthur wondering how he’s ended up in another one of my bright ideas.
Steve looking fed up already.
And Preston, our young apprentice, taking it all in like this is perfectly normal.

You know you’ve officially made it as a community organisation when you’re posing with one of those giant cheques 🎅🎄

A huge thank you to the Stevenage Community Trust for their incredible £1,000 grant, which will partly fund our trip to the Battle Proms next year, giving our veterans a day out they truly deserve.

We couldn’t keep the giant cheque… but we definitely kept the smiles.

Today we mark Cambrai Day, a moment of pride and remembrance for The Royal Tank Regiment and everyone who has served in armour.

On this day in 1917, history changed. The Battle of Cambrai became the first major offensive that proved what armour could do on the battlefield. It showed courage, innovation and the determination that still defines the Tankies today.

To all who have served in the RTR, past and present, thank you for carrying that legacy forward with honour.
