Zine delivery to our new neighbours on Friday! GRUB STREET! Whilst collating, printing and binding these pages from the workshop we ran for Stockroom in Merseyway last year, I felt so overcome with togetherness and community.

This zine is a reimagining of Stockport’s printing industry, and the Underbank’s which was home to lots of printing press’ — once given the nickname Grub Street because of the inky fingers and industrial fogginess of the street. Dreamy project to work on, as a printing press based on the Underbank’s today!

Two layer prints by collage whiz Debbie. These were made during our most recent 5 week ‘All Analogue’ printmaking course. Her eye for interesting textures and tones is unbeatable! Printed in Green & Fluro pink. Second print is Blue and Green. Printed on Fabriano Academia paper.
