King Charles the Third and Queen Consort Camilla crowned at Westminster Abbey.

In the United Kingdom a new sovereign was anointed and crowned at Westminster Abbey. This royal coronation marks a new era for millions of people within the Commonwealth of nations. The last coronation took place in 1953, during the reign of Elizabeth the Second, seventy years prior to the coronation this year in 2023. King Charles took an oath, was anointed with holy oil and crowned by Justin Welby with St Edward's crown.

The Queen Consort, Camilla, was crowned with Queen Mary's crown in a similar ceremony in Westminster Abbey. About 2,200 guests were inside the Abbey witnessing the coronation ceremony.

Election Results: Labour take lead in local elections.

The results of England council elections are shown below.

Labour Party - 2,662.
Gained 532 seats.

Conservative Party - 2,288.
Loss of 1,060 seats overall.

Liberal Democratic Party - 1,613.
Gained 409 seats in total.

Independents - 872.
Loss of 81 seats.

Green Party - 479.
Gained 241 seats this election.

These results reflect the democratic election authorised on May 4th, 2023.

Election 2023: Ballots are still been counted.

Conservatives have lost councillors and councils across England. The biggest winner in this election is Labour. Liberal Democrats have received gains from both political parties.

Labour have gained Stoke-on-Trent, Plymouth and Medway. Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer is confident that these results will simplify his path to winning the next general election.

More declarations are expected later this afternoon.

Local Election 2023: Results so far...

More than 8,000 seats are up for dispute this local election. English council constituents are voting to maintain or change councillors throughout the country.

The Conservatives are defending over 3,300 seats in this year's local election. Labour are looking to increase seats in bellwether councils. The Liberal Democrats gain seats in council elections. Green Party are gaining seats in rural areas in council districts.

The Labour Party has increased voter turnout since 2019 election.

Expedia: On the road to recovery this season.

Expedia bookings have turned bullish as the warmer seasons have helped to improve company performance. More online users are now booking holidays after several lockdowns during the Covid-19 pandemic have been lifted.

Margin performance has increased as Expedia are looking to unique audiences to increase internal revenue. Expedia's stock price should in theory rise as services are been adapted to new users.

Local Elections: Democratic local elections are being held on 4th May, 2023.

For those who are allocated a vote during the May 4th local elections, remember to take photo identification (or ID) before voting at your local polling station.

Polling stations will be open between 7AM - 10PM on May 4th.

It is also important to remember to take photo ID. For a list of applicable documents please check below.

Passport, Driving Licenses, Blue Badges and Over 65s Blue Passes are accepted.

Commodities: Commodity trading is beginning to erupt again.

Trading in commodities are emerging in the global stock market. The rules of demand and supply are still in effect when it comes down to sourcing useful elements.

Zinc is a transition metal that comes from ore, it must be mined to be obtained. Zinc must be smelted before it can be used and refined. According to James M.
