We enjoyed some absolutely DELICIOUS tapas and cocktails at .fuego_mexican in Hanley 😍🤤 the staff were soooo lovely too, and the interior design is out of this world 🤌🏽 go check it out!

'Morning' sickness absolutely wrote me off during my pregnancy - until I was prescribed Xonvea at 17 weeks! I tried to soldier on, constantly thinking and being told that how I was feeling was "normal", until i ended up throwing up violently from even a sip of water. I was so dehydrated I had key tones in my urine sample.and was hospitalised and had to go on a drip. It was HORRENDOUS. I felt like my baby was a parasite sucking the nutrients pit of me, and I felt so bloody guilty for feeling that way, too. When I was discharged from hospital I was initially prescribed Cyclizine Hydrochloride and Prochlorperazine but neither worked for me. I was still throwing up throughout the day every day, and I was only managing to eat tiny amounts of food and diluted cordial was the only thing I could drink for months. I dreaded brushing my teeth everyday (despite barely having a gag reflex before pregnancy) and I felt like i could never quench my thirst. All I wanted to do was sleep.

When I finally reached 17 weeks with no changes, I was finally prescribed Xonvea and it completely changed my pregnancy experience. The puking finally stopped and my appetite increased - probably too much tbh.

Pregnancy has not been easy for me, so I'm speaking out about it. I feel like people don't talk about any of the burdens that come with pregnancy because of the stigma that they're 'ungrateful'or 'a bad mum'. That's not the case, it's just that some of us have a really difficult time during pregnancy - I'm one of those people. I'm usually an upbeat person - and I still am - but it's time to end the taboo that all women are 'glowing' during their pregnancies or that it 'suits us', or something we 'were made for'.

From being hospitalised due to nausea, bleeding, and trying to turn a breach baby, I'm going to be explaining everything that's made this pregnancy incredibly tough. Am I excited for my baby to be born? Yes. Am I going to be a good mum? 100%. But that doesn't mean I haven't hated almost the entirety of being pregnant.

Last night I went for a tasty meal at The Bauhinia in Springfields, Trent Vale with me besties - here's the photos. It was quiet with being a Wednesday evening, and the menu was somewhat pricey compared to other local Chinese restaurants, but we enjoyed the food nonetheless 🥢

Between us, we ordered:
- crisy seaweed
- spring rolls
- butterfly king prawns
- satay chicken skewers
- chicken in Hoi Sin sauce with cashew nuts
- sichaun chicken
- kung po beef on a bed of crispy fried noodles
- soft rice noodles
- egg fried rice
- salt and chilli chips
- cheese cake
- banana fritters served with ice cream

It's a Romanian cafe located in Cbeapside and the owners are soooo lovely. Their cakes and coffee are absolutely delicious, I 100% recommend 👌🏼

Went to Little Dumpling Kimg for the first time last month and it was absolutely incredible - I can't believe I'd never been before! 😍

We shared haggis dumplings, a fried chicken, sour cream, caviar, burger cheese and chilli crisps bao, a pork belly hoisin bao, and an LDK friend chicken, sexy mayo and gnarly seasoning rice bowl.
