are really looking forward to joining in with Stoke Indoor Market’s Christmas Party this Saturday 🎶❄️🥳

🗓️ Saturday 20th December 10-3pm
📍Stoke Indoor Market, South Wolfe Street, ST4 4AD (Free parking all day)

Pop into see them on the community activity stalls in the middle of the market for some DIY Christmas fun:

💥Make your own unique crackers (with hat, joke, gift and bang!)
✂Create a stained glass style winter animal paper cut
🎄Make a glitzy table centrepiece/ or tree ornament
🧶Get creative with wool
🖼Join Art UK to explore festive paintings from across the UK inspired by the classic board game Guess Who, use your best detective questions to guess your opponent’s artwork! For a chance to have a go at our festive lucky dip!🎁

All the activities are free and everyone is welcome.

Alongside B. ARTS activities there will be LOTS going on in Stoke Indoor Market on the 20th December including a chance to visit Santa in his grotto, visits from Elsa and Olaf and a Christmas DJ! ⛄🎅

Plus a chance to get some last bits for Christmas of course from the fantastic stalls inside the Market 🧀📚🎮💝

And for the littlest visitors there is now a soft play within the market too!

No big names just big hearts, proper panto
gathered together to sing and dance
and scream “She’s behind you!” in unison.

🤥 “The Adventures of Pinocchio, A Boy Made of Clay” 🤥

This pantomime has been co-created by volunteers from St Saviours Church and the Ford Green Team in conjunction with B.ARTS featuring a volunteer community cast of all ages and experiences. We are grateful to Smallthorne Community Centre for their ongoing support.

This is a non-profit event, and ticket costs cover the production expenses only.

There will be a bar on the night which will serve both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

🎟️ We’re staging this show twice (Friday 12th evening and Saturday 13th evening) so tickets are extremely limited. Get yours now to avoid disappointment.

We visited The Hub@ST6 to talk about all things podcasting for … During the session the
young people came up with some incredible questions and interesting ideas for discussion topics including an impressive amount of dinosaur knowledge! Then learned to use the recording equipment to start their own mini podcast. We had an absolute blast! 💥

➡️ Is interested in gaining experience in management and leadership in the arts
➡️ Can commit to 4 meetings per year, usually in December, February, May & September.
➡️ Has leadership skills and/or lived-experience relevant to our programme and wants to add their perspective to B.ARTS decision making!

What does the Board of Trustees do?

🌍 is a documentary film about how wildfires in Europe are not just natural disasters - they’re the result of human intervention (or lack of it), from corruption and organised crime to the vested profit making interests of big business over people and planet. But more particularly, the legacy of fascist and authoritarian regimes and the interplay of far right politics in contemporary society.

Focusing on communities in Greece, Italy, Spain and Portugal, this film explores how resistance to the far right is fundamentally linked to the fight to stop climate change.

✨ EVENT HIGHLIGHT ✨ Stoke Town Lights up festivities organised by Stoke Minster is TOMORROW evening!

✂️✨ B Arts will be running a FREE drop-in craft activity throughout the event at the Minster (find us in the foyer), where you can make a light up willow star, a miniature Christmas tree, decorate a spring bulb pot, or make a Christmassy badge.

🎭There will be also be festive walkabout from some of the brilliant ArtsHill Performers.
