Sunday Business Shout Out – We’ll go first!

We are A Little Bit of Stone – an independent news company available on the internet and social media. We rely on support from local businesses and individuals to help sustain a dedicated news service for Stone.

Now it’s over to you. This post is here to help connect local businesses with local residents – and you don’t have to be on the High Street to join in. Whether you’re based on an industrial estate, working from your garage, or running things from your back bedroom, we want to help you connect.

Business owners – introduce yourself in the comments:
• Your business name
• What you do
• Where people can find you

Residents – tag a local business you love so others can discover them too.

Every share and every introduction makes a difference, and we’re grateful for everyone who supports us, whether through a directory listing, an advertising package, or even a virtual coffee.

Can you help us find someone?

We’re hoping to get in touch with a mum who was in Little Dots café at around 10am on Thursday morning with her 5-week-old baby. If this might be you, or you know who it could be, please drop us a message so we can pass your details on to the person trying to reach you.

They’d like to connect and offer a friendly hello, and have asked to remain anonymous. Please message our page, and we will connect you.

Just a heads up, the Little Stoke level crossing is closed from today until 7am Saturday whilst they replace the level crossing.
There's a traffic order in place, meaning no vehicle access over the crossing during the closure.
Although the order doesn’t state whether pedestrian access will be impacted, workers have apparently said that there won’t be pedestrian accsss at this crossing point.
