The Stotfold News is a community based magazine distributed monthly, free to every home within Stotfold and most of Fairfield Park . We offer cost extremely effective advertising to 4,600 homes and businesses within the local area whilst pro-actively supporting and promoting local events and non-profit making organisations free of charge throughout the content of the publication.

DUE TO THE EXTREME TEMPERATURES TODAY

Our July magazines will be slightly delayed this month due to the storm on Monday night causing a flood in our printing warehouse.

We are expecting them to arrive this afternoon but wanted to stress that we will not be asking any volunteers to deliver whilst we are experiencing such extremely high temperatures.

The safety and wellbeing of our delivery volunteers is incredibly important and whilst we know everyone likes to receive their magazines nice and early each month, we’re sure you’ll all agree that our volunteers are our absolute priority,

We hope everyone is managing to stay as cool as possible today & thank you for your understanding.

We hope to be with you all asap! ☀️

⭐️IT’S BACK FOR 2026!!! ⭐️

Calling all Stotfold Scarecrow Festival fans!! You spoke - we listened!!

Back by popular demand, the Stotfold Scarecrow Festival is returning for 2026, to run on the same day as our ever-popular Stotfold Walking Market!!!!

Stotfold will be hive of activity on Bank Holiday Monday 31st of August as not only will we have a whole host of Walking Market stalls for you to enjoy, Stotfold will also be hosting its very own Scarecrow Festival at the same time!

If you’ve never seen our Scarecrow Festival before, it’s your opportunity to make your very own Scarecrow (there’s no set theme this year so your imagination can run wild!!) and place your scarecrow outside your home, shop or local business for everyone to enjoy as they walk around the town enjoying the Walking Market!

We’re delighted to be supported on the day by both St Mary’s Church and the Stotfold Salvation Army as they have both agreed to act as map collection/refreshment stops on the day.

The event is kindly supported by Stotfold Town Council who are helping with the organisation of both events and Satchells Estate Agents who have very kindly donated us some prizes for our top three Scarecrow winners!!

If you have an eye for a creative photo then we’ve got just the thing for you!!

We’re on the hunt for our August front cover picture & need your help! We’d love it to be Stotfest themed, you can interpret that in any way you like…we’ll leave the creativity to you!

All you need to remember is to leave space at the top for our masthead, make sure your subject matter is central and who ire good to go!

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

Ww are always so very grateful for any help we receive delivering copies of your Stotfold News Magazines each month / thanks to one lovely follower yesterday, we have been able to fill our volunteer role for Rooktree Lane.

We are still in need of help covering Angelica, Marigold & Cowslip up on the Greenacre Estate. If you have twenty minutes you could spare us each month then we’d LOVE to hear from you!

CAN YOU HELP US?

We have two rounds which we need help to cover (one is only temporary while our volunteer is away form Stotfold to care for a relative.) The rounds are Anglica, Cowslip & Marigold (on the Greenacre Estate) and Rooktree Lane.

Both rounds are lovely rounds - (the Rooktree Lane round being only temporary.)

LOOK WHAT’S ARRIVED!!

You all loved our Stotfest selfie frame so much last year, we’ve decided to bring it back for 2026!!!

This year, we’re looking for the most original selfie picture taken to win themselves a prize We’re looking for originality, fun and something which optimises ‘Stotfest’ inorder to be chosen as our lucky winner!!

Judging will take place after Stotfest (next Monday) and the prize delivered safely to your door!
