WE CAN'T WAIT FOR YOU TO READ OUR MEMORY LANE FEATURE NEXT MONTH....

Its incredibly busy for us today as it's our February print deadline. We have a long day ahead of us as this month's issue is quite literally bursting at the seams with interesting articles and some truly wonderful content.

One such article is our Memory Lane feature this month as we have the honour of hearing about Robins memories of moving to Stotfold as a baby in 1935. We know you are going to be as fascinated as we were to hear where his life journey took him, the incredible lives his five brothers had and the fascinating directions they each took.

Robin now lives in Shefford but is fortunate to keep in touch with the news in Stotfold via our magazine which his friend Rose takes across to him each month. It's a real treat and we thank Rose for enabling for this feature to happen, We are so glad it provided Robin with hours of enjoyment and provoked lots of lovely memories for him. Just another part of our job we absolutely LOVE. 🤍

Thank you Robin. (pictured outside his old family home in St Mary's Avenue this week.)

FOLLOWING ON WITH OUR FEBRUARY THEME OF PEOPLE....
We look forward to telling you all about David.

We think it's fair to say that David thrives on adventure. David is also a keen cyclist.

You just know therefore that this one is going to be slightly challenging (if not, just a little bit crazy!)

You can find out all about David's forthcoming epic adventure and the reasons behind setting himself such a huge challenge, inside the February issue of your Stotfold News Magazine!

If you can't wait until then, here's a small taster...

DID YOU SIGN UP TO TREE-CYCLE SCHEME THIS YEAR?

What a great job from the guys at M J Ryall Building Supplies Ltd for helping to collect the trees this year.

The Garden House Hospice Care is a hugely important local charity to us here at the magazine and so we are always so grateful when businesses come together to help them however they can!🤍

OUR FORTHCOMING ISSUE OF THE STOTFOLD NEWS MAGAZINE IS ALL ABOUT PEOPLE....

There's certainly a strong theme inside your next issue of the Stotfold News Magazine. We already have so many stories, tributes and articles focussing on the people from within our own local community. - we already know it is going to be an extra special one..

This month we are featuring stories of two of our local residents, both of whom need our help to make their fundraising dreams become reality.

First off, we'd like to introduce you to 16 year old Ben.
Stotfold A'level student Ben Jarvis will be using 2026 to raise money to volunteer on a wildlife conservation project in Peru later this year. Ben has been given the opportunity to volunteer on a teen-focused rainforest conservation project which he is incredibly excited about.

Ben will be fundraising throughout the year and we will be bringing you updates throughout, to let you know how he is getting on.

DO YOU OWN A LOCAL BUSINESS?

Are you hoping that 2026 will be more successful for you than previous years? Now is the time to make sure that 2026 is the year you have a solid plan that is going to work for you.

⭐️ KEEP GOOD COMPANY - Placing your business alongside other reputable, respected and trusted businesses helps build trust in your brand.

⭐️ REPETITION BUILDS REPUTATION - Don’t be tempted to just ‘go big.’ smaller adverts over a sustained period of time work far better than larger one-off advertisements.

⭐️ CHOOSE WISELY Would you buy from your own business? Take a subjective look at how you’re selling yourself. Are you approachable, are you competitive, do you look as professional as you could do?

Over 60 local businesses in Stotfold & beyond are choosing the Stotfold News Magazine EACH MONTH to help spread the word about their local business. Surely that counts for something?

STOP HOPING FOR THE BEST!!

Contact us today and let us use our 30 years of local adverting experience to help advise you on the best way forward for your business in 2026.
