Have you ever spent longer thinking about a job than it would actually take to do it?

We all have those tasks that sit there day after day because we are dreading them.

Try this.

When you make your list for tomorrow put a star next to the thing you are least looking forward to.

The thing you keep putting off.

The thing that keeps popping into your head.

Then do that first.

Once it is out of the way you will feel so much better for the rest of the day because it is no longer hanging over you.

I share simple practical tips like this inside my free Sorted and Sassy Club to help life feel lighter and more manageable.

It is amazing how much calmer your day feels when you stop expecting yourself to remember everything.

Try choosing one place for all the random things that pop into your head during the day.

🙃Not five notebooks.
🙃Not scraps of paper.
🙃Not notes on your phone and bits in your handbag.

Just one place.

Your brain relaxes because it knows it does not need to keep holding onto everything in case you forget it.

It sounds simple but it makes such a difference.

I share simple practical tips like this inside my free Sorted and Sassy Club to help life feel lighter and more manageable.

Do you already have one place for everything or are your notes everywhere? xx

You know those little jobs that keep sitting in the back of your mind all day?

The ones that only take a minute or two but somehow keep following you around mentally.

Try this.

Set a timer for 10 minutes and only do the tiny annoying jobs.

✅Put the recycling out.
✅Reply to the message.
✅Book the appointment.
✅Fold the blanket up.
✅Empty the bag.

You will be amazed how much lighter your head feels afterwards.

Sometimes it is not the big jobs making you feel overwhelmed and it is the build up of tiny unfinished things.

I share simple little tips like this all the time inside my free Sorted and Sassy Club to help life feel calmer and more manageable.

What is one tiny job you could get done in 10 minutes today? xx

You know that feeling when you walk into a room to do something and then completely forget why you went in there?

That is usually a sign your brain is trying to hold too much at once.

One thing that helps is ending the day by writing tomorrow’s first task on a sticky note and leaving it somewhere obvious.

Not a full list.
Just the first thing.

It makes such a difference because you wake up already knowing where to begin instead of wasting energy trying to work it out.

Small things like this help your days feel calmer and more manageable.

If you would like more simple ideas and support like this you would love my free Sorted and Sassy Club.

You are not lazy, your head is just overloaded.

When your mind is full, it is hard to focus properly because you keep thinking about the next thing and the thing after that.

You start one job and then remember another.

By the end of the day you feel drained but still feel like there's loads left to do.

A simple thing that really helps is writing down the next three things you need to do, instead of trying to hold everything in your head at once.

It helps to settle your mind and makes everything feel much more manageable.

That's why simple routines and small plans help so much.

You look around and can see bits that need doing but nothing feels clear.

So you make a start on something small, then get distracted and move onto something else.

By the end of the day you have been busy but it does not feel like you have actually moved anything forward.

That is the frustrating part.

It'snot about how much you are doing, it'ss about not having a clear place to begin.

When you know what to focus on first, everything settles down and feels easier to handle.

You stop second guessing yourself and you just get started.

If you would like a bit of help getting that clarity and feeling more on top of things you would love my free Sorted and Sassy Club.

You are always welcome to join us there.

Do you ever get to the end of the day and wonder what you actually did? xx

Sorted and Sassy isn't about doing more, it's about knowing what matters and having a simple way to stay on top of things.

You don't need complicated systems and you don't need to do everything perfectly.

You just need clear steps and a bit of structure so everything is not stuck in your head.

When you feel more organised you feel calmer and more in control and more like yourself again.

That is what this is really about.

If you would like help with creating more calm and clarity in your week you would love my free Sorted and Sassy Club.

This is the week you are going to get organised and you really mean it!

Then something comes up and something takes longer than expected and something else gets added.

Before you know it you are back to picking things up as you go along.

It is not that you cannot be organised.

It is that no one has shown you how to make it work in real life.

It does not have to be perfect and it just needs to be practical and fit into your days.

Small steps and simple structure can make a big difference.

If you would like a bit more support and encouragement with getting organised you would love my f.ree Sorted and Sassy Club.

You start your day knowing exactly what matters.

You're not looking at a long list and you're not being pulled in different directions.

You have a simple plan that makes sense and helps you move forward.

You get things done without constantly stopping to think about what you should be doing next.

Things feel calmer and more steady.

At the end of the day you feel like you have made progress instead of just being busy.

That is what having a plan does for you.

If you would like that kind of day, you'd love it inside The Sorted and Sassy Club.

Would you like your days to feel a bit easier and more productive? xx
