On this sacred Good Friday, the people of Sunderland gathered once again for the powerful and moving Walk of Witness, culminating in a live re-enactment of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ on the historic Tunstall Hill.

This annual event brings together churches, local communities, and individuals of all ages in a shared moment of reflection, remembrance, and faith. With actors in full costume retracing the steps of Christ’s final hours, the performance served as a deeply emotional reminder of the Easter message — sacrifice, redemption, and hope.
