This morning tested my motherhood strength 😩😂
Rain was just drizzling small innocent drops o. I told the girls to get ready for school, and next thing, my toddler (sweet luckycharm💙) had already worn his shoes, jacket, and was standing proudly with his umbrella like a boss.
He was determined to follow us😂
He started crying, and you know toddlers and their drama 😩... I couldn’t leave him behind.
We stepped out and BOOM!
The rain said, "Surprise!" 🌧️🌧️🌧️
Heavy downpour hit us like we owed it money 😭
Next thing I heard from my baby boy, in the middle of the storm, was:
Mummy... it’s as if I’m taking a shower 😭😂😂
At that point, I just knew I had failed 😂😂
No umbrella, no jacket could save us. I was dragging wet kids to school like a warrior mama with regrets 😂😂
Moral of the story: Never trust a UK drizzle 😭😭
