wow! had an official tour of the Beacon of Light this afternoon and totally blown away. they have treatment rooms for physios to rent, educational space, cafe and library, netball courts, football pitches and much more more.. ideal space for functions and also business events.. I hope it all gets utilised as it's amazeballs.

for anyone at the tall ships. there's a place called the hip beside the town moor stage. there are circus acts, a carousel, bars, cocktails etc. check it out as it's not been very well advertised ...
