Happy Disclosure Day to all who celebrate 👽

Such a wonderful movie. I felt so lucky to be able to see it early. I wasn’t alive when E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial came out, but seeing this movie made me imagine what it must have felt like to watch E.T. in cinemas for the very first time. The kind of film that completely pulls you in and reminds you why people fall in love with cinema. Please go and see it in IMAX if you can… it’s a real cinematic experience. It reminded me why I joined the industry in the first place. Spielberg, you’ve done it again! 🎬✨

My dream overhead setup 🎥🏠

When I moved to this flat, I had a vision for this overhead rig, but I had no idea how I was actually going to build it. I spent hours researching lighting, clamps, mounting solutions, and cameras before finally settling on this setup. It's tucked away neatly in my office, looks clean, and makes filming so much easier. I even use the desk for Zoom calls because it has the most consistent lighting.

I should point out that I didn't buy all of this at once. The cameras, lenses, lights, and accessories have been collected over many years. Most of it came from working, saving, and slowly building things up over time. I've always believed that if you love something, you'll invest in it… Whether that's your time, creativity, effort, or money, you'll always find a way to keep building towards it.

Any suggestions for what I should add to the rig next? //

Throwback SXSW London last week 🎬

AGBO hosted a Doctor Doom-themed coffee shop pop-up for Avengers: Doomsday, where Anthony and Joe Russo surprised fans by turning up for photos, autographs! Fast forward a few days and I somehow found myself in a room with Steven Spielberg and Colman Domingo. As someone who grew up obsessed with films and now gets to work in the industry, moments like these still don’t feel real. My film nerd brain is still trying to process it all 😭🎬//

If you squint really hard, you might just see me 🔍

I had the privilege of being invited to the Spielberg-themed pub quiz hosted by the brilliant Ali Plumb to celebrate Spielberg’s new film, Disclosure Day. A Spielberg-themed pub quiz was already hard to top, but somehow Steven Spielberg and Colman Domingo actually turning up managed it. My tiny self managed to squeeze in behind Spielberg and just about made it into the photo. An extra in a Spielberg production at last!

As someone who grew up watching Spielberg’s films, and whose work inspired me to pursue a career in film and TV, this was one of those surreal moments that doesn’t quite feel real. A huge thank you to everyone involved in making this happen. It’s a night I’ll never forget //
