Not often I get to stand on one of Heathrow’s runways, let alone in the middle of the night. 🌙✈️

I spent an evening out on the northern runway this week, filming for an upcoming project for Heathrow’s social channels and getting a behind-the-scenes look at its once-in-a-decade resurfacing.

There’s something pretty special about seeing a runway you normally watch aircraft land on completely transformed overnight, with teams working against the clock before it reopens for operations the following morning.

Plenty captured, with more coming to Heathrow’s channels soon. 👀

Next across the Moon… Aer Lingus 🌕🇮🇪

Airbus A320neo, EI-NSE, crossing the lunar surface on its way into Heathrow.

Aer Lingus flights are actually some of the hardest for me to predict. They always seem to take their own path in and out of Heathrow (I’m sure they don’t, but it seems that way), so catching one exactly where I wanted it made this one particularly satisfying. ✈️
