E dopo la luce, per creare profondità e tensione cogliendo ogni sfumatura di questa storia, anche tra i sussurri e le voci che colmano la misura di una solitudine insostenibile come quella di Claudia, una madre tra le altre, abbiamo con noi il sound designer Eric Guerrino Nardin.

Laureatosi presso l’Università degli studi di Udine con indirizzo , si specializza come tecnico del suono al e apre il suo home studio nella campagna friulana.
I suoi lavori spaziano dai documentari - “In un futuro aprile: il giovane Pasolini” (2020) – ad opere filmiche di finzione dalla forte identità sperimentale e immaginifica, tra cui “ ” (2023) . Recentemente ha firmato il sound design di “Fiume o morte!” un comedy docudrama, ha vinto il Tiger Award al 54th International Film Festival di .nl ed è stato selezionato per rappresentare la Croazia nella corsa alla nomination come Best International Feature Film ai prossimi Awards.

Per disegnare luci ed ombre – anche le più cupe, le più intense e profonde – di un’esperienza totalizzante come la maternità, in un’opera di genere ci vuole maestria, creatività e professionalità.

Abbiamo piacere di avere a bordo Martina Cocco, direttrice della fotografia diplomatasi al Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia di Roma . 🇬🇧 The first financial building block of a small story that began three years ago… CARNE by Laura Plebani, a short film about parental loneliness, has received regional funding from the Emilia-Romagna Film Commission!

Carne is a short film written by Laura Plebani and Giada Mazzoleni, directed by Laura Plebani, and produced by Giada Mazzoleni with PAGURO FILM Ltd, Red Sled Films srls, 341PRODUCTION, and Meclimone Produzioni Cinematografiche.

And something very important: it aims to be a film set designed for mothers and fathers. Anyone in the crew or among the talent who struggles to manage their children because of set hours will have access to childcare services organized by the production.

We want to send a message: we want to have children and keep making films — to continue being directors, production designers, line producers, and much more.

With CARNE, we want to show that a childcare protocol promoting the inclusion of parents in our field — one without fixed working hours — is indeed possible.

Vogliamo lanciare un segnale, vogliamo avere figli e continuare a fare film, per continuare a essere registe, scenografe, direttrici di produzione e molto altro.

Con CARNE vogliamo dimostrare che un protocollo childcare per l’inclusione di genitori anche nel nostro lavoro che non ha orari, è possibile.

We’re pleased to announce that our short film, CARNE (SOLID FOOD), has been shortlisted for this year’s fund! Fingers crossed!

The spark for this story was born the moment we became mothers.
The confrontation with daily difficulties, unexpected loneliness, and the obstacles that the world of work and society placed before us coalesced into a story. Claudia’s story, which is unlike the pastel-toned tales we’d been told about becoming mothers until then.

Claudia’s story is a powerful one: we’ll use the horror genre to journey into the mind and guts of a woman dealing with the loneliness of motherhood and the pressure of an outside world that doesn’t see or hear her. We feel it’s important to have an alternative and powerful narrative of those difficult moments we’ve all experienced, but which too often remain hidden and forgotten. Because they’re scary.

We’d like to shoot this short film providing childcare to support all the parents working on the project. Because when you become a parent, you don’t stop being a producer, actress, electrician, director... we want to demonstrate that a support network is all it takes to continue expressing your creativity and doing your job well.

And this little production will prove it!

A hermit crab in the Midlands

PAGURO FILM is an independent production company, founded in April 2018 in the Midlands by Giada Mazzoleni, with the intent to develop copyright projects for today's cinema-documentary market of international audience.

Giada Mazzoleni, 1989, after a classical matriculation and a degree in media languages ​​at the Catholic University of Milan, enrolled in the Production course for cinema and TV at the Civic Schools of Milan. Her first experience on a set is as an intern on the feature film "True Love" by Clerico Nasino written by Fabio & Fabio. She remains in the troupe for just under two weeks since the compulsory attendance in Civica precludes the possibility of closing the work, but already understands that the cinema is the most beautiful job in the world.

She follows as secretary of the edition "La Festa" by Simone Scafidi, produced by Gagarin SRL, for which she will then work for 2 years as a development producer alongside the producer Franco Bocca Gelsi (Fame Chimica, Fuga dal call center, L'ultimo pastore).
