Never too old to play 🩵 💙 inspired by homeschoolingtwoboys and after watching Toy Story 5 the other evening - Finlay played with his Magnetic Tiles for the first time in ages…this basket of tiles is something that I will keep handy for the times when he says he’s ‘bored’ and not allowed device time…because why shouldn’t he play with them?

I worry a lot that he’s too old for this and that - but you know what…I have to remind myself that you are NEVER too old to play….not even as an adult 🤍

I challenge you to set up those small worlds, play with the little maileg mice (cath 😘) 🐭 play in the mud kitchen, make potions 🧪 play with the playdough, get crafty, paint 🎨 make a Lino print, start a journal …JFDI

So I’ve avoided all of the tidying and sorting this morning since my last post…by making butterfly buns with Finlay! It’s an adhd thing apparently - avoidance! We’ve also done a sunography craft too - something I’ve wanted to do for ages - and want to experiment with more. Should have bought that kit from the art shop.
