Wasps are increasingly more and more aggressive. With the wasp season drawing to a close the calls have pretty much slowed down to an absolute minimum.

My attention is now turning back to rodents, bird proofing and squirrels.

Rhino Pest Management is hitting the ground running with rodents.

The usual services are on offer
° control of Rats, Mice & Squirrels.
° proofing against the above
° sewer surveys to check for any potential issues for rats. With recommendations for further work that could be essential to keep rats out.
° installation of nine return valves.
° supply and fitting of vent guards.
° Deep cleaning of properties that have had extensive rodent issues or other bio hazardous areas. This service is in conjunction with A&A Biohazard based in coalville.

Here at RpM, we are forever trying to offer more and more services whether or not it's by this company or in conjunction with other companies. There is always a way to deal with your issues.

Rhino Pest Management is a growing brand. It's a brand and a Name you can trust.

If you need any help with any pests than between me and the companies I can lean on for wide help, then please get in touch the usual ways l.

A new customer today in Swad, they have been living here since February and had sporadic rodent problems.

After a quick search outside I found potential entry points, but by using my phone camera I can see that the rat is using the broken air vent, the flattened insulation leads down to a hole in some cement. From there it's going straight up to the loft which is where the customers first hear it around 9pm at night every night.

This rat is now trapped in or tapped out..

Traps are in place in the loft ready for swift control.

The rain is bringing the squirrels and rats back.

Message me on whatsapp if you need my help.

Last wasp nest or the day...

Sprayed it... Waited, opened it, all dead.

Started to remove it and a flurry of angry wasps, and dying angry wasps came out.

Ok no issue.. this is textbook wasp whispering stuff..

Oh.. stung on my inner thigh!

So that's two stings on my bum last week when one got down there and now one on my thigh!

Ughh... I guess I deserve it really 😂😂😂

Slowly but surely it's getting darker earlier in the evening and it's darker longer in the mornings.

The nights are a lot cooler, the leaves are turning orange and falling off the trees. The final birds have fledged, wasps are slowly slowing down. Autumn is nearly upon us.

This change has already seen a shift in pest patterns, squirrels are having their last litter of the year and rats will inevitably start to move into your homes or business.

Rhino Pest Management is looking to expand its commercial portfolio and this is a good time of the year to assess what your current provider offers you and if this contract serves your needs properly.

I am always open to new contracts from any form of business. Everything is considered and there should always be something sorted out to suit each individual's needs.

If your company, or the company you work for needs to have pest management in place, it's current service is up for renewal or would like to know more about what RPM offers then please get In touch.

I'd be more than happy to do a free site visit, have a walk round, go through your current services and see what can be done differently to help you in a more efficient streamlined service.

For more information please contact me via email at [email protected] or by clicking the WhatsApp button on this post.

Feel free to share this post to anyone that will or could benefit from it.

Wasps are still going strong, but there is a definite decline in calls now.

This past week rat and squirrel calls are coming in again. The nights are getting colder which will force them inside your homes, garages, sheds and businesses.

If you're being annoyed with any pestnthen get InTouch on WhatsApp.

A quick note on ways Rhino Pest Management can take payments.

The usual cash, card, bank transfer and cheque are all perfectly fine.

I've had the facility to take direct debits for about 12 months now and that works well with commercial customers.

I have just seen that I can now take installments from customers. So if you can't afford to pay in one lump sum then it can be broken down into several smaller payments. This is set up using a mandate the same as setting up a direct debit.

This is just another way I can help you by spreading the cost and not having you struggling for a month.

This was an interesting wasp nest.

Treated externally originally but it failed. So I decided to go into the loft and have a look.

And there it was I poked the nest with my applicator but nothing happened...

Then to the left I saw a second nest of a gray colour.. poked my applicator spike in and the wasps came pouring out.

Proof that wasps can occupy the same space but not an old nest.

A decent little find.

Another survey done today.

This customer has been living here for ten years. The extension is 20 years old. Recently the extension has dropped forward about 2 inches leaving a gap between the extension and the original part of the house .

Then the rats enter!!

I managed to survey the majority of the system, finding their man hole from next doors. This man hole would be approximately in the middle of the extension and cemented over.

The rats at the moment are coming up from the floor where the original stench pipe is, up a 2 foot drop and into the wall of the house.
