Whilst Quiet World is on hiatus (it will return, there are vague plans afoot) I have started a new label with a more overt folkloric bent in line with my Wyrd Britain project and so my new album (my first in a very long time) is out today on the brand new Wyrd Britain label. I made some music tonight for the first time in several years.
It's been a long time and at some points it felt even longer - I hate being ill.
It's a short improvised piece based around a friends graphic score using my case of noise toys that you can see in the photo.
(Providing she likes it) it was made for an exhibition of Susan Matthews' graphic scores happening in Carmarthen in a couple of weeks time. After that, hopefully I'll share it here so you all can hear how rusty i've gotten in the meantime.
