Due the closure of Levels, no sign of new management taking over anytime soon and a lack of reputable venues with a stage large enough to accommodate the new Ward XVI stage show we are unfortunately having to now cancel this gig with Ward XVI, Pulverize & Froglord.

It's not been an easy decision as I (Mikki) have wanted to bring Ward XVI to Swindon for many years and I'm heartbroken to have to deliver this news.

Those who have purchased their tickets will be refunded automatically via SeeTickets/Eventbrite soon.

🔥NEW SHOW ANNOUNCEMENT 🔥

The 0161 Manchester Underground Metal Community Promotions are delighted to bring you our next HOLY DIVER lineup. We are moving away from just thrash and mixing the sub genres up. This now being a nice mix and variety.

We kick off with a new young thrash. Sanguis Mortem is a teenage thrash metal band hailing from Bournemouth, UK, formed in 2023. Their music fuses classic thrash influences with elements of metalcore and hardcore punk, delivering high-energy performances characterized by face-melting riffs and a raw, aggressive sound. Their style has drawn comparisons to bands like Metallica, Suicidal Tendencies, Municipal Waste, and Havok.

Next we have another local act. Kringer and the Battle Katz is a high-energy metal/punk/hardcore band hailing from Manchester, UK, known for their self-described genre of “Party Metal.” Formed in 2015, the band fuses groove metal, hardcore punk, and nu-metal with a playful, chaotic spirit. Their music is characterized by heavy riffs, aggressive vocals, and the inclusion of brass instruments, adding a unique flair to their sound.

We move onto our headliners and what headliners they are. Ogun is a thrash metal band hailing from Liverpool, England. Formed in 2002, they were active until 2008, during which they became a prominent force in the Merseyside metal scene. In 2024, they released their debut album, World of Hate, showcasing their evolution with groove-laden riffs, intricate solos, and even blues influences. Their live performances, such as the album launch at District in Liverpool, have been praised for their energy and musical depth. They were one of the stand out acts when they played our thrash all dayer 0161 mumc Thrashchester last year. We are delighted to have them headline this event.
