I missed Gifford’s Circus this year so it was lovely to frame the poster from this year’s 25th Anniversary Tour and I loved that my client embraced the neon vibes with the framing to really give the va va voom! - this is unmounted but framed using slips to keep the glass off the poster! - top tip to those that don’t know, without the spacers it’s a big ‘no no’ because if the glass sits directly on top of the poster over time it often causes rippling which will cause damage! - often clients will say “it’s just a poster and don’t want to spend a huge amount” - that’s fine but if you go too cheap remember it could ruin something that might not be financially valuable but the memories made are very valuable!

Always a privilege framing medals and keeping the story alive - and …. when my client asked for an ‘oval’ cut out I could say “yes no problem” as my computerised mount cutter was totally up for the challenge!

What a beautiful couple! - I always forget to take the ‘before’ photo but here is the ‘after’ - still with a traditional vibe but just bringing in a contemporary lift with the mount and frame - my client rescued these out of a skip at his work! - now refreshed and off to their next home to hang as a pair together - taken 1952 & 1953

My client and I decided this print ‘Indian Birdsong’ by lent itself to be framed in the ‘bobble’ style frames from - so much fun! We couldn’t decide whether to go big and bold with a red pop of colour in the mounting or the candy pink - we decided as the print is so vibrant that candy pink won! Hope you agree!

Some people have incredible patience! - these are just stunning and the ‘magic’ glass sets off the colours so beautifully and crisp! The tree was made up with polymer clay forms that were covered in needle lace and part painted for colour, silk ribbon lettuces, embroidered cabbages and cauliflowers and the trunk serviced stitched, and the other leaves are stitched separately, wired and applied to give 3d effect! - and ‘Secret Squirrel’ he’s silk shaded using single strands of embroidery cotton - over 20 different shades all designed from a photo my client saw in a magazine! - just wow!
