This Mental Health Awareness Week, we’re turning our attention to job burnout – more importantly, how to avoid it.
Things have been busy recently. The Weltel team is growing, we’ve been making new friends and starting on some big projects.
As much as we’re loving it, things can get a little overwhelming, so we’ve been making sure to prioritize our team's wellbeing by:
🏋♀️ Encouraging people to take advantage of the company-provided gym membership. We won't give you the whole shpiel about exercise - but really, it is good for you.
📵 Allowing people to fully switch off once the workday is done – no after-hours phone calls, thank you very much.
🗣️ Communication – if someone’s workload is too heavy, they tell us, and we listen. Constantly aiming for unachievable targets is stressful and pointless, so we realign our expectations of what is actually possible.
Feeling super appreciative of our wonderful team, old and new. Here’s to growing together, sustainably 🫶
