Knockhill Racing Circuit for the BTCC was so much fun! Media commitments kept me from shooting every race, but here's my favourite shots from the weekend.

A little nod to my late Uncle Michael Andrew, who's humble Pentax K70 and vintage Asahi primes now in my possession. I think he'd have been impressed by these.

Sparks flew for Clark Motorsport this weekend at Knockhill Racing Circuit supporting the BTCC

Another podium for Daniel Clark keeps him at the sharp end of the table, and another career best for Darryl Laws sees him finishing 8th in the Sunday final.

Phil Rowlands had a difficult weekend but as ever showed that he can race amongst the fastest.

But arguably the biggest story came from a resurgent Elby Clark who challenged for her maiden podium going into the final turn of the final race! An amazing run kept her with the top five throughout, and if she hadn't dipped a wheel into the gravel at the last minute she may have earned some silverwear. Not this time though; settling for 4th, but the payoff feels just around the corner for Elby.

A fantastic weekend's racing. See you next time at Croft for round 6 of the Scottish Legends.

A few weeks on now from Goodwood Festival of Speed and I still find myself daydreaming about it.

The atmosphere was like nothing else I've experienced; something that's difficult to replicate anywhere else in motorsport. From historic F1 cars, rapid modern machinery (and I mean rapid!), gorgeous Americana like the PlayStation liveried Viper GTS-R and the Waltrip 88 Gatorade Chevrolet... to the Brataroo with Travis Pastrana!

Among the photographed are a very handsome classic Alpine Cars A110, my reunion with the sharknose Ferrari 156, first encountered at Silverstone Museum, the Schubert Motorsport GT3 Tourer, the spectacular TWR Performance Supercat, a slice of the Alitalia Lancia Stratos, several examples from Porsche, Singer Vehicle Design, and Gunther Werks , and chap in a media vis (this will be me next year 💪).

If you get the opportunity, definitely try and get down to Goodwood. There's nothing else like it. I got a lot of pretty pictures 😅 Expect a little bit of a dump! 📸

It doesn't always go the way you want it to, despite all the hard work. The best thing you can do is pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and crack on.

A tough weekend for Clark Motorsport sees Daniel Clark suffer engine cutouts, Darryl Laws outright engine failure, and Elby Clark retirements from contact.

However, a good run for Phil Rowlands saw some consistent finishes, and a run for Dan in the Superkarts 125 Open was a silver lining.

Regrouping for next time 💪
