We can't stay here for ever - we have loved Market Drayton but our water tank is very nearly empty so we have to go in search of a top up. Andy gets a tad frustrated this week with some boaters not playing by the rules, but a beckoning Woodseaves cutting takes all the frustration away as we enter this long canal cutting which has an Amazon rainforest feel about it, rather than Staffordshire countryside. It was so relaxing and we hope this comes through on the video.

Later, Eric gets overly excited with his new bladders, and Andy can't resist another ghost story as we pass through Tyrley locks.

Ok folks, now we've shamelessly used Betty as cute bait👀🤣...we'd love your input. We want to have artwork of some description or other on the insides of the hatch doors ( the grey bit) .We're not keen on Roses and Castles as it doesn't really fit with the boat, nor do we want something too modern. Obviously it needs to be slim too! We've racked our brains with no joy so we're turning to our lovely followers to give us some inspiration so pretty please leave us your comments/pictures with your ideas......over to you folks! Thank you! 😁

It's an honour to have been asked to be a temporary custodian of the Routes of Remembrance wreath as it makes its way around the UK waterways prior to Remembrance day. We took possession of it from an ABC hireboat at Gailey this morning. It'll have pride of place on the front of Ripple until it's our turn to hand it to the next boat.

After months of requests, here it is. The tour of our narrowboat home. Just how have we been been able to fit our lives inside a 57' foot long tube of steel? Well wonder no more as we give you a detailed tour of both the outside and inside of Ripple, the tech, the storage, and the simple creature comforts.

In the words of Gandalf "You shall not pass". Fortunately we've managed to moor in a five day moorings spot, near services whilst we await the CRT's plan of action. But for now....we're going nowhere 😬
