Before and after ✅

Took over this job from a fellow decorator or Handyman 😜 A lot of hard work went into it and a mountain of prep was needed! The walls and woodwork were in terrible condition.

Customer wanted to keep the polystyrene tiles on the ceiling. All the lose tiles and new ones applied before painting. Walls were skimmed to give me a surface I could work with. All woodwork burnt back to bare and started again.

Couple weeks back I completed a small kitchen refurb. Had suffered from a leak in the roof which caused water stains and blown plaster. Small section of mould also.

Mould treated and all stain blocked via the relevant Zinsser products.

Ceiling was in dulux trade and walls in a polished pebble in the dulux easycare range!

Please note the after pics the paint is still wet hence the patchiness 😀

Before & After ✅

An interior job finished last week! What a transformation. Artex ceiling was skimmed and all the paper removed from the walls.

All surfaces was sanded filled caulked and primed before painting.

Ceiling was Dulux Trade Ultra Matt
Walls was Johnstones Trade Durable Matt
Woodwork Albany undercoat and Acrylic Eggshell

Please note some of the paint is still wet in the pics 😀

The job I’m currently on is certainly challenging me and pretty much everything done by the so called decorator beforehand has made a right mess for this customers hallway!

Filler applied thick uneven all over the walls (a lot of sand paper needed🤦‍♂️)

Water based over gloss not sanded! All the woodwork was painted but all have to be redone!

All woodwork was painted before all the walls prepped, probably because they ran out of filler 😂

The point I’m making here is make sure the work being completed is by someone who knows what they are doing! Ask for pictures of work and check reviews!

Before & Afters ✅

My last exterior of the season completed few weeks back! One exterior too many with fighting with the rain! 😂 But what a summer so can’t complain!

Some of the rough cast was damaged and cracks. All repaired before painting with 2 coats of Jasmine White Dulux Weathersheild!

Get booked in for late spring / Summer for Exterior jobs. Already starting to fill up so don’t miss out!

Another exterior job completed in August for a lovely couple in Norton! Forgot to take before pics 🤦‍♂️

The render wasn’t that bad apart from where I removed an entire of sky cable with left some repair work needed to the render!

High Coverage Smooth Sandtex Magnolia was used on the exterior render.

Last week I had the tough task of skimming an artex ceiling which I don’t normally do…. But very happy with the finish 😀

I heard many good reviews about Dalapro Roll Nova so I gave it a go for the first time and must say it’s a brilliant product to achieve smooth finish on any surfaces. I will be completing this job on Monday but here are some sneak pics of the work before!

Before and After ✅

Another job completed and what a transformation! Bringing old dull black beams to a light oak finish really highlighting the grains and old rustic look back to the rooms!

Ceilings were miscoated and top coated.

Woodwork Frenchic Paint top coated the black beams with 2 coats of the chalk paint followed by a browning wax.

Very pleased with this as you wouldn’t know it was all painted black beforehand. Check out the pictures below to see the transformation 🤩
