Happy New year everyone!

My diary is open for 2026! I’m looking busy already for the 1st half of the year. A few weeks in March available first come first serve!

Exterior and Interior projects! Free Quotations. Please be proactive and organised as I tend to be booked 3-4 months ahead!

Managed to fit a a small job in between Xmas and new year! A small landing / Bathroom completed all walls ceiling and woodwork!

Sami Rollinson gave me a massive help to get it completed in a short period! He managed to strip all wallpaper before I arrived which allowed us to get ahead on the job! Even getting some woodwork coated once I left to give us a chance to get completed! Great work fella 👏

Sorry no before pics as completely forgot! But a few big cracks raked and filled. Some holes replaced with new plasterboard taped and skimmed. A lot of filling caulking sanding.

Final job of 2025 competed! Before and Afters ✅

A rather complexed hall stairs landing with a few access issues with high ceilings. All anaglypta wallpaper removed, which revealed a few issues. Blown Plaster and a lot of cracks in existing plaster.

Ceiling had paint peeling off due to poor prep which again revealed cracks in the Artex ceiling. Ceiling was skimmed for the best results. Zinsser Gardz the walls and ceiling prior painting.

All woodwork was sanded down and again old paint was peeling off due to no preparation and wrong paint used. A lot of prep but the results speaks for themselves!

That brings the end to a very busy and now looking forward to sometime off! 2026 is already looking busy for me, get booked in quickly and free Quotations!!

Nearing completion on my current job! All anaglypta wallpaper removed. A number off problems found under the paper.

Blown plaster / Old Plaster cracking / Paint peeling of ceilings in sheets / Water based on top on oil based on Woodwork. A lot off prep but starting to take shape, ceiling was skimmed as easiest option.

Keep an eye out for completion later this week.

A busy few weeks completing a rather big job in Taunton for a lovely customer 😀

A kitchen / downstairs toilet & back door hallway / living room / bedroom / Bathroom / Hall Stairs Landing.

All paint was from Dulux trade and as ever filler products Toupret UK making the job as ever easy with the wide range available!

Crazy to think I’ve been back working a year already since my diagnosis! Starting up for a 2nd time was rather tough, but if you work hard it will always workout 💪 I’d just like to thank friends and family for all the support! Not least all my wonderful customers who have kept me very busy 👏

Another week completed, freshening up 4 bedrooms this week ready for the owners to sell the house.

Fairly straight forward apart from a few mould and damp areas. Toupret UK quick dry fillers making the job straight forward. Treated with the relevant primers from Zinsser

Last week seen a quick freshen up of a kitchen / living room and bathroom ready for the house to be sold. This week the bedrooms will be completed!

Kitchen a fair few issues flaking paint all over the ceiling. Sealed with peel stop and filled ready for top coating.

All woodwork done in Dulux quickdry Gloss

Kitchen finished in a Nutmeg White, polished pebble in living room and bathroom was finished in Willow tree!

Before and after ✅

Took over this job from a fellow decorator or Handyman 😜 A lot of hard work went into it and a mountain of prep was needed! The walls and woodwork were in terrible condition.

Customer wanted to keep the polystyrene tiles on the ceiling. All the lose tiles and new ones applied before painting. Walls were skimmed to give me a surface I could work with. All woodwork burnt back to bare and started again.

Couple weeks back I completed a small kitchen refurb. Had suffered from a leak in the roof which caused water stains and blown plaster. Small section of mould also.

Mould treated and all stain blocked via the relevant Zinsser products.

Ceiling was in dulux trade and walls in a polished pebble in the dulux easycare range!

Please note the after pics the paint is still wet hence the patchiness 😀
