Garage Talk Unwrapped Smashes Subscriber Target – Surpassing 14,000 YouTube Subscribers in 2025

Independent automotive aftermarket video magazine Garage Talk Unwrapped is celebrating a major milestone, having now surpassed 14,000 subscribers on YouTube; a remarkable leap from just 1,000 subscribers in 2024.

Originally aiming to grow its subscriber list to 5,000 this year, the team behind Garage Talk Unwrapped has nearly tripled that goal, thanks to its success at the recent Automechanika UK event and growing demand for accessible, entertaining, and authentic insight into the UK aftermarket and motorsport scenes.

2025 has also seen a surge in visibility for the channel, with over 150,000 views so far. One standout episode alone has clocked up almost 50,000 views, cementing the show’s reputation for compelling content and candid interviews with industry leaders, drivers, engineers, and garage professionals.

"We set ourselves an ambitious target of 5,000 subscribers this year, and the response has been overwhelming," said Ben Coates, Director and Host. "The fact that so many people are watching, subscribing, and engaging with our content tells us there's a real appetite for this kind of automotive storytelling."

The success of Garage Talk Unwrapped reflects the growing influence of independent content creators within the automotive media landscape, offering a fresh voice and genuine connection to the people driving the industry forward.

Motul has announced a new partnership with Slammed UK for the Gravity Show UK. From its days as a small car meet in Kent, with a few hundred cars, Gravity has grown to become one of Europe’s biggest automotive events. This year the multi-faceted show which includes a live action arena, Low Rider & BMX feature areas and hundreds of world leading brands, will be staged over the August Bank Holiday weekend at the NEC in Birmingham, with a crowd that is expected to be in excess of 45,000.
