It's been a while.
How are you all doing?

It's been a ride hasn't it. Life. Recently.

There's been a lot going on under the surface. So many transformative moments.

For me, I lost my dad. I let go of a soul contract with my closet friend of 40 years. I changed my career. I was officially diagnosed with ASD, ADHD and a few other things. I'm known for not doing things by halves.

But one thing that was my stable was my Shamanic Priestess Path. That includes many modalities, many ceremonies and rituals, many journeys, many dark night of the soul moments, realisations and integrations.

It's a path I've been on my entire life. However after an accident a few years ago, one I knew was predestined and agreed on before reincarnation, I knew it was time to take this path seriously.

I have since started my Philosophy and Psychology Degree with a masters in Psychotherapy to follow, joined a two year Shamanic Initiation program, taken part in a Munay Ki initiation, Reiki level two attunement, Counselling Level two and three diploma and signed up to an embodied Animal Body container to reconnect with my body and the raw, wild woman within.

This is a path I am committed too. I can't say fully how it will evolve. And I love that. What I can say is I'm starting with me. The deep inner work. And I hope to one day be humble and worthy enough to be entrusted with being of service to those who need what I may offer.

Until then I continue on my path. I'm keeping my business name Virtual Empathy and official Limited business status. However I'm dropping the marketing business. It was a great challenge. And refresher of skills. However it was accidental. Not my idea. Not what lights me up. And not part of the grand plan.

So for now, my media pages will be a place where I share my insights, parts of my journey, wisdom and musings.

Happy International Women's Day!

Today is about celebrating the strength, resilience, and brilliance of women everywhere.

But for me, it's also about something deeper. Empowerment, healing, and breaking free from the limitations, whether by society, conditioning or by our own past experiences and limiting self beliefs.

I've walked the path of struggle, self-doubt, and transformation. I’ve seen firsthand how powerful women become when they are supported, heard, and given the space to thrive. That’s exactly why Virtual Empathy exists. To help women (and men) build businesses that align with their truth, to create content that amplifies their voices, and to hold space for those reclaiming their power, aspiring to be more.

This year’s theme, Accelerate Action seems fitting for the Astrological Alignment of March 2025 and the powerful shifts that will come with this.

So, here’s to the women who rise, who lift each other up, and who refuse to shrink themselves to fit into boxes never meant for them.

The weekend is near.
Don't forget to set time aside to do what you love; rest, refresh and recharge.
Life is about the fun times, the connections, the moments when we feel alive. It's not about how accomplished we are within our roles but how accomplished we are within ourselves. That feeling of understanding, acceptance and peace. This week has given me plenty of time to delve deep into the shadow side. The light and dark within that I hide, the hidden potential that I suppress.
A Shamanic shadow workshop is set for in a few weeks time and a potent medicine ceremony for the end of the month, when we see another potent shift in the current status quo the magnitude of which we last experienced during the French Revolution.

The smug luck of someone who just got three months for the price of one on Spotify.
I'm such a tight a**e.
I wait until something is on offer or at a better rate before paying for it.

I was going to start the post with an old cliche but thought a hashtag would be better.

After a morning of getting on top of my university studies and taking a call with a gorgeous writing coach and book editor about my plans to become an author (Ekk - Exciting).

It's time to put my tunes on and just soak up the sea, sun and beautiful sounds.

Ask and you shall receive.
I put it out there yesterday, to my friend, and the universe, that I wanted to receive some advanced training in SEO.

Whilst enjoying a beach day yesterday, we spent several hours discussing the ins and outs of our business desires and direction.

And hey presto the universe delivered a linkedin message from an amazing connection that I follow, who needs mentoring to help with their marketing strategy and lead generation.

And this connection just so happens to be an SEO expert.

Service Exchange ahoy.

That evening the dream opportunity in holistic modality training also lands in my friends feed. The kind that resonated so deeply she got the shivers. It's the one which she has been looking for and didn't even know existed.

Yes I know your phones are always listening and the algorithm responds.

However that doesn't account for my contact dropping me a message and a service exchange being agreed upon.

In my eyes this further clarifies and solidifies for me that the more we voice our desires the greater the chance of that voiced desire alchemising and manifesting into a tangible physical entity.

This week I'm taking a breather.
I'm spending the week in Lanzarote and will be playing catch up with my Business projects, Shamanic Initiation shadow work and University study - in a warmer climate by the poolside. And finding my creative flow by the sea on a beautiful beach.

I've never brought my laptop away on a holiday with me before. But realistically I know that getting up to speed on my many projects is the best thing for my peace of mind right now.

So I will balance work and play here for the week with the added time and freedom that not having a household to run for the week brings.

Feeling incredibly grateful to my husband and two teenagers for stepping up to do extra chores this week while I'm away.

Gifting me this much needed creative space to reset as the seasons change from winter into spring. Replanting seeds and nourishing their growth for the year to come.

And time to rest and replenish, before a final storm hits. One of emotional depth. As a family member take the last steps in their journey on their path of life.

We all get overwhelmed.

In business and life.

So instead of the constant whirl of to do lists going around in my head.
I break it down into actionable steps in daily and weekly lists.

I even include what you might class as small tasks, like putting the washing on, cooking and taking a shower.

Then I get the sense of accomplishment at each thing I can tick off the list and see that I am in fact getting somewhere.

Another trick is to write down a list of everything you achieved in the last week off that felt like a weight off the shoulders and less traffic in the mind. Then I can let them go.

Try it and see if it helps you feel more grounded.

And don't forget to take a breather in-between and get outside. Walk the dog and play fetch. Listen to the birds. Look at the flower buds. Feel the wind and take some deep breaths.

No one can function well if they are heading to burn out.
