Sony/Samsung-meh if you can put up with them.

Hisense/TCL/vestel and cheaper brands rebadging like Panasonic-avoid all of this s**t. It’s cheap and it’s 💩

TV LEDs dying, too much current, too much heat and the junction breaks down 😓

It drew 60watts before blowing too haha, the end LED went open and this is when your TV has no picture anymore 😝

Just to make people aware of a couple of things up before I repair your TV ✋✅

I now require the full payment for LED TV backlight replacements to be made up of front after the free diagnoses is completed.

I’am requesting for screen removals and re-fitment on the bases I’am not to held liable if the LCD panel is to become broken or faulty during repair. If the LCD panel is to become broken or faulty during the repair, I will remove the new parts, cancel the repair and reassemble the TV free of charge.

I offer 3 months warranty with all LED backlight replacements and will only replace the full module with a brand new trusted re-manufactured assembly. This does not cover damage to the LCD screen or if the fault is not related.

I have had to add this as newer TV’s are glued together with some very nasty glue, bearing in mind the LCD glass is less than 3mm thick. This makes it very hard and risky to remove the screens. Fortunately I have not damaged one in a very long time, however just making people aware it can happen.
