After lots of careful consideration we have decided to close Carousel FM with immediate effect.
We would like to thank Presenters past and present for all their hard work and wish them good luck whatever they chose to do next.
We have had a fantastic 4 years living what started as Rob Perk’s dream, but now its time to let someone else take the stress and hard work of running your own station.
Again thank you to everyone who took time to listen and interact with us, it was all very much appreciated.
Rob will be continuing on another station in the New Year so is taking a well earned rest for now.

Started by Rob Perks, originally intended to be a community radio station in Worcestershire, but for many reasons never got off the ground. This has now evolved into weekly podcasts by Rob Perks and Stuart Lee Highfield. Their styles completely compliment each other, which has now resulted in us reaching No. 3 for a number of weeks on the Podomatic Oldies Chart. Which for something that is barely 6 weeks old is a fantastic achievement.
Since our first podcast back in October on Podomatic, you are now able to hear us on Apple Podcasts, and TuneIn Podcasts.
Our aim is to one day become an internet radio station, but this will take lots of hard work behind the scenes, so hopefully we can make this happen! But if it doesn’t well we will continue to Podcast until you get fed up of listening to us!

We have some more specials coming up in the next few weeks, the biggie being a John Lennon special which Rob Perks is currently working on, and behind the scenes Jayney is putting together a 70’s music mix for you.

We are always amazed at the amount of listens and downloads we get each week, and think it cannot get any better but you always surprise us with your support.
